Disposal Info:

  • Dispose of your unneeded Rx drugs
  • Place Rx in a disposable container such as a sealable plastic bag
  • Crush medication if possible
  • Add coffee grounds, cat litter, or sawdust to the bag
  • Add a little bit of water and mush bag to make a paste
  • Place sealed bag or container in the trash
  • Be sure to remove your personal information from the pill bottle before disposal
  • Remember: NEVER flush your medication down the toilet or put in the garbage disposal
